The Grill Room

84 Exchange St., Portland, Maine

Basically the antithesis of the fast-food style burger, which it’s worth noting that I enjoy equally as much, the Grill Room piles an enormous patty onto fresh-baked focaccia bread with tomato confit and lettuce. On the side are enough sea-salted French fries to feed about 40 people, so try and procure extra ketchup to weather the storm.
